UDDER FLAMING/SINGEINGOne of the torturous practices “dairy” cows are forced to endure for humans’ taste buds is udder and belly hair removal. Dairy farmers claim that hair removal is a vital process to improve udder cleanliness and reduce bacteria and that udder flaming/singeing is a “humane” way to accomplish this. FINTI FALAFEL SENZA COTTURA

Hunting of wildlife as a control of overpopulation or “invasive species/pests” is a myth created by modern-day hunters who wish to continue their sport/leisure without facing scrutiny from conservation scientists, environmental activists, and the like. The examiner collected a good list of sources and explanation on the topic here, noting that even those who do believe in population control have no excuse for hunting/killing in order to achieve it. As is with most cases, relocation and other non-lethal methods are extremely possible.
There is also information available from Last Chance For Animals, detailing how hunters interact with “invasive species”, non-native species, and endangered animals.
As a summary of the above linked information, it is safe to say that the main goal of hunting is a leisure activity (particularly for the wealthy), and that as a majority it has no positive effect, or even intent to offer such, on the environment and its inhabitants.

Hearing Joe Rogan talking positively about a vegan fighter on a UFC event was one of the final things to convince me to go vegan. I’m not really big on fitness and such, but it proved to me that vegans aren’t the frail hippy stereotype. It said you could not only live on a vegan diet but you could thrive.
